Just
Web Promotion Does All Submissions Manually.
Just web promotion
company manually submits optimized sites to major
search engines and directories. The technical definitions
of these terms influence our submission techniques. We modify
the Url's best suited to the keywords so that there is a very
good chance of ranking your website in the first top 20 positions
in the search engines query.

Search
Engines
Search engines employ spiders to catalog and rank websites.
A spider is an automated program that scans HTML codes of
every page. Knowing this fact, we manually submit each significant
page to the particular search engine.
Directories
A directory is a human edited information bank. Editors view
websites as one connected piece (as opposed to a set of disjointed
elements seen by spiders). So, we specifically create and
submit an index page that contains all of the important information
of the entire website. However, we still ensure each page
contains quality information for spiders to read. Manual
Submission To Search Engines And Directories For a Top 10
Position. Before we start with search engine submissions we
ensure that your web site is "search
engine friendly" through our search engine
optimization service.
Major
Search Engines:
Our search
engine submissions service includes submitting your site to
specific categories in the top directories - Yahoo and The
Open Directory Project, this is the only way to be listed
in these directories. We submit your site manually to the
top search engines (Google, AltaVista, Lycos, Hotbot, MSN,
Fast/All The Web).

Paid
Submissions:
Certain search
engines and directories have started charging for submissions,
please note that our rates do not include for submission to
these directories although we are able to arrange submissions
at an additional cost. The following are the latest prices
available.
Yahoo:
US$ 299 (annual
fee) - this does not guarantee acceptance, but does guarantee
that your site will be reviewed within 7 days. There is one
chance at rectifying any problems with the site and re-submitting
at no extra cost. Submissions to regional listings are still
free at this stage, in our experience though, Yahoo is not
adding even these sites, a paid submission seems to be the
only way to get into the directory. Yahoo still attracts the
lions share of search engine traffic, definitely worth a listing.

LookSmart:
LookSmart has
more than one submission option rates varying between US$149
and US$299. This directory supplies results to numerous other
search engines, so it could be worthwhile obtaining a listing.
Overture (previously GoTo):
Overture has
a unique system of ranking. Sites wishing to appear in the
directory "bid" for keywords or phrases, the highest
bidder for a particular phrase gets # 1 position, the next
highest bidder # 2, etc, etc. Overture has recently taken
over the Go Network/Infoseek and Iwon, they also supply results
to several search engines so are likely to corner an even
greater share of search engine traffic than they already have.
Also a worthwhile place to get noticed.
MINOR SEARCH ENGINES & REGIONAL SEARCH ENGINES:
We have found
major search engines
to be the most important, they will deliver the vast majority
of the search engine traffic. Submitting your website to local
search engines also brings in good traffic to your website.
* We offer
a choice of programs to suit every budget or can customize
to your specifications, from once off submissions to monthly
maintenance contracts which include regular submissions to
the top search engines and "tweaking" of keywords
and phrases to maintain a top ranking.
